🚨’Together not alone’, our brand-new animation project, is delighted to welcome the stunning talent that is @amywadge aboard 🚂! We feel beyond blessed that Amy Wadge, Grammy award winner and one of the UK’s most prolific contemporary songwriters, is bringing her Magical Musical Might 🪄 🎶 💪🏻 to our project.
Storytelling and nurturing emotional connection is at the heart of The Worry Wizard 💙. Fans of Amy’s music will know she achieves all this and more with her singing and songwriting 💫. Only five minutes into our first session working together, Amy exclaimed, ‘I’ve got it. I can hear the music playing’ 🎶. An hour later I was able to share in what Amy had heard; a piece of music that describes with stunning accuracy, an adult and child, lost in a shared grief, who desperately seek to reach each other but are too afraid of causing more hurt to know how ❤️🩹.
‘Together not alone’ is The Worry Wizard’s brand-new animation project, generously funded by @CheshireCommunityFoundation. Working in collaboration with the wonderful charities @reubensretreat and @roseswayfoundation and supported by the brilliant Young Storyhouse @storyhouselive, our animation, with accompanying adult toolkit, will help guide and support adults and children in a gentle way, through difficult conversations about grief and loss. It will be a free-to-all resource and will be launched to mark this year’s World Mental Health Day on October 10th 💚. We can’t wait to share it with you.
