I met ‘a lighthouse’ in a school I visited recently 💡. We are being funded to visit primary schools in Tameside and Glossop to run Worry Wizard sessions 🏫. We are having lots of fun 🤩.
After one session, a student came up to me.
“Can I say something to you, miss?” she said.
“Of course,” I replied.
“I just want to say that when I grow up, I want to be just like you. I know I am not grown up yet so I’m going to just try to be a little like you for now.” ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜💝
My heart nearly burst. What a beautiful thing to say. But the fact that she found the mighty amount of Courage to share it with me, simply incredible 💞.
It made me think…how often do I have things to share that may help those near to me that I don’t share because I start to wonder… should I say it? Is now the right time? (so many wonderings…)
From this point forwards, I am going to try to be more like my mightily courageous lighthouse Worry Wizard 💡🧙♀️. She shone her light in such a friendly way and it definitely helped me 🥰.
