National Grief Awareness Week 2021 ❤️‍🩹

#SpreadSomeWarmth this #NationalGriefAwarenessWeek with our animation (& Toolkit), Together Not Alone. How can you begin to open tender conversations about grief and loss with your child ❤️‍🩹?

With original music by the Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter Amy Wadge 🪄 🎶💙, we have developed a short animation, Together Not Alone, along with a Toolkit, to help you begin to share open and honest conversations about grief and loss with your child 🤍. Children may experience many different types of grief and loss during childhood, our animation and Toolkit is designed to inspire lots of questions for you and your child to wonder about together 💞. In this place of Curiosity, lots of interesting thoughts, feelings and ideas can be discovered 💭.

In ‘Together Not Alone, you meet Ella and her friends who love spending time together. But one day, Ella stops coming out to play 🛑. Someone she loves has died. Ella’s friends feel lost. What can Ella’s friends say or do to let Ella know they are still there for her?

‘Together Not Alone’ is The Worry Wizard’s brand-new animation project, generously funded by Cheshire Community Foundation. Working in collaboration with the wonderful charities Reuben’s Retrear and Rose’s Way Foundation and supported by the brilliant Young Storyhouse. Together Not Alone is written and directed by Amy Smythe, beautifully animated by Chay Hawes with stunning original music by the magical Amy Wadge 🪄🎶. If you’d like to know more about our project, please get in touch. We’d love to hear from you, Amy✨(aka The Worry Wizard 🧙‍♀️😉).
